Let's get upside down!

We all dream of holding a handstand one day, but did you know, you MUST learn to HEADstand first! Most are intimidated to try this pose because they've never been properly taught how to SAFELY explore headstand. But have no fear-you are safe with the expertise at EYL! 

Headstand is an incredibly restorative and therapeutic yoga pose that strengthens your core and shoulders while eliminating nagging neck and back pain.

Most importantly, headstands are fun!

Join Morgan as she dives deep into a clear, method-based approach on how to properly prepare, engage, and strengthen your body before, durning, and after a headstand. This worksop will also teach you how to increase your overall body awareness and how to properly engage your muscles for maximum strength.

Shoulder Love

Strong and healthy shoulders are elusive for many yogis and athletes. Learning to tap into your shoulder strength and flexibility is the key to unlocking poses like handstand, forearm balance, as well as those that involves binds. If you struggle with weak or inflexible shoulders, or want to learn therapeutic techniques to deal with a nagging shoulder injury, this workshop is for you. Nicole will show you how to build strong and flexible rotator cuffs, as well as how to target shoulder accessory muscles like the lats, traps, and deltoids. Come prepared to learn and discuss shoulder anatomy and physiology as well as how to protect your shoulders from injury.

Let’s be honest, you’re not doing all those Chaturanga push-ups to never learn cool arm balances! Whether you’re new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, you can explore the fundamentals of arm balances - from Side Plank and Crow all the way to Grasshopper, with many other poses in between. We’ll run through the anatomical alignment of arm balances and spend some time learning what specific poses warm the body and shoulders with the intention of building strength & flexibility for a safe and sustainable practice. We’ll also break down each pose in an easy to follow style and build a solid foundation as you learn how to safely get in and out of each pose. Want to unlock headstand in your practice? Of course you do-and we have a workshop for that! 

Headstands develop incredible shoulder, back, and core strength, body awareness, and coordination. All skills which are required to unlock forearm balance AND HANDstand. Without a proper and strong headstand practice, it's nearly impossible to balance on your forearms or hands.

In Headstand ELXR, we'll safely explore the fundamentals of headstands and provide a clear, methodical approach for a healthy headstand practice that will last a lifetime. We’ll spend time learning how to (1) intentionally warm up to prepare for headstand (2) how to strengthen the body for headstand, and (3) how to properly utilize the core to bring power and stability to your headstand - all skills that will help strengthen your everyday yoga practice.

We'll then explore 6 progressive headstands of a traditional yoga practice, many of which you probably never knew existed! Come curious to learn and get ready to take on a fresh perspective of standing on your head!

Back pain is the most common reported “pain” in America. Low back pain is multi-faceted and can be attributed to many different causes.

Before going down the road of pain meds, injections, and surgery consults, reach out to your in-studio Physical Therapy/Yoga Instructor. Pain is your body communicating with you and it’s time to listen!

In this workshop you will learn how to optimize your current daily functional activities, stabilize important muscles, and learn what mobility YOUR body needs most to reduce or eliminate low back pain. Meditation ELXR: Intro to Yoga Nidra with Sadie.

Yoga Nidra is a deep relaxation technique used in yoga to help boost energy levels, enhance creativity and give the mind a chance to rest and rejuvinate.


We will explore the liminal space between wakefulness and sleep, but don’t worry, we won’t be ACTUALLY sleeping! Have you ever been in that peaceful state just before you’re about to go to sleep, and had a great idea? Then not written it down and forgotten all about it the next day? Yoga Nidra will help you to explore that creative thinking space, allowing you to find focus and work towards solving a problem or task you may have had difficult with recently.


To enhance relaxation, feel free to wear your yoga outfit, lounge clothes, or even PJs! You will end the practice feeling as though you’ve had a good night’s rest. Space is limited to 14 clients.
