Let’s be honest, you’re not doing all those Chaturanga push-ups to never learn cool arm balances! Whether you’re new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, you can explore the fundamentals of arm balances - from Side Plank and Crow all the way to Grasshopper, with many other poses in between. We’ll run through the anatomical alignment of arm balances and spend some time learning what specific poses warm the body and shoulders with the intention of building strength & flexibility for a safe and sustainable practice. We’ll also break down each pose in an easy to follow style and build a solid foundation as you learn how to safely get in and out of each pose. Put aside any expectations and judgments about your practice as we teach you what to focus on in each pose. Allow yourself to be curious and excited to play as you journey to arm balance!
