Trap yoga is back for a special end of summer outdoor event at Art Court in Fayetteville!
Trap yoga is a fun and relaxed yoga class set to beat-pumping Hip-Hop music. For this edition, we're flowing to the greats of 90's Hip-Hop. Feel free to sing along, dance on your mat, and have a good time while we flow. Actually, we encourage it!
Your ticket includes your yoga class, pre-class drinks from 7-Brew, and post class smoothies from Smoothie King!
Hawley's Truckers will also be making custom trucker hats…Your custom hat will be perfect for football season!

FREE 45 minute vinyasa flow to harness the power of the Sun Salutations. This class will be a break down of Sun Salutation A (a common series of yoga poses seen in vinyasas yoga classes) and offer both progressions and modifications to ensure it’s accessible to every body!

Strong and healthy shoulders are elusive for many yogis and athletes. Learning to tap into your shoulder strength and flexibility is the key to unlocking poses like handstand, forearm balance, as well as those that involves binds. If you struggle with weak or inflexible shoulders, or want to learn therapeutic techniques to deal with a nagging shoulder injury, this workshop is for you. Nicole will show you how to build strong and flexible rotator cuffs, as well as how to target shoulder accessory muscles like the lats, traps, and deltoids. Come prepared to learn and discuss shoulder anatomy and physiology as well as how to protect your shoulders from injury.

Let’s be honest, you’re not doing all those Chaturanga push-ups to never learn cool arm balances! Whether you’re new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, you can explore the fundamentals of arm balances - from Side Plank and Crow all the way to Grasshopper, with many other poses in between. We’ll run through the anatomical alignment of arm balances and spend some time learning what specific poses warm the body and shoulders with the intention of building strength & flexibility for a safe and sustainable practice. We’ll also break down each pose in an easy to follow style and build a solid foundation as you learn how to safely get in and out of each pose. Put aside any expectations and judgments about your practice as we teach you what to focus on in each pose. Allow yourself to be curious and excited to play as you journey to arm balance!

Enhance your mind-body connection with journaling!
Journaling is a simple, yet effective way to expand upon your time on the mat, foster mindfulness, and deepen your physical practice.
We'll explore ways to emotionally process your practice and explore your thoughts of your time on the mat in a healing way. You’ll learn to hold ownership of your reactions and to hold space for self love and reflection...all while clearing the way for the ultimate transformation to take place.
You'll receive a yoga journal to personalize and make all your own! We will then move through a 30-minute gentle flow before concluding with journaling exercises to process the flow.
You'll learn to integrate free writing-pre and post practice-and to overcome mental and emotional blockage using writing prompts that encourage self exploration and self discovery.

Headstands develop incredible shoulder, back, and core strength, body awareness, and coordination. All skills which are required to unlock forearm balance AND HANDstand. Without a proper and strong headstand practice, it's nearly impossible to balance on your forearms or hands.
In Headstand ELXR, we'll safely explore the fundamentals of headstands and provide a clear, methodical approach for a healthy headstand practice that will last a lifetime. We’ll spend time learning how to (1) intentionally warm up to prepare for headstand (2) how to strengthen the body for headstand, and (3) how to properly utilize the core to bring power and stability to your headstand - all skills that will help strengthen your everyday yoga practice.
We'll then explore 6 progressive headstands of a traditional yoga practice, many of which you probably never knew existed! Come curious to learn and get ready to take on a fresh perspective of standing on your head!

Expect a slow, non-heated, breath to movement vinyasa based flow to end this workshop. You’ll learn to flow with a grounding and intentional breath. We’ll then follow with a calming/cooling breath techniques, beginner levels meditations, and breath work while in relaxing yin poses.

Of all yoga poses, backbends are THE best way to release fear, find inner strength, and to learn to love yourself. Not only are backbends necessary for a strong and healthy spine, when approached correctly, they can heal spinal ailments including low back pain and neck issues. Whether you enjoy back bends and want to advance or you're unsure of how to safely enter backbends, this workshop is for you.
Join Nicole in this 2 hour exploration of the spine, hips, and core and how these elements are used to safely and efficiently enter backbends. We will explore beginner backbends, floor based backbends, and standing backbends and learn how exploration of a safe backbend practice can help you find a higher level of freedom.
